For instance, if you are looking for a kid-specific wipe then the Kandoo Flushable wipes are ideal.
For those of you looking for a package to take in your bag, then either the Simpleaf Wipes or the Charmin Freshmates are perfect choices.
For those who require a larger sheet then the DUDE Flushable Wipes with its are 25% larger than normal wipes.
For dealing with feminine hygiene issues, then the Goodwipes wipes and Epielle wipes are tailored specifically to meet those needs.
For men, the two best are the range of wipes from DUDES and the quirkily named ASSWIPES.

There are no perfect solutions when it comes to wipes. Even flushable wipes have some downsides, but they are far better for the environment than the plastic-laden wipes that many manufacturers produce.

According to Friends of the Earth If we all switched to biodegradable and compostable wipes, we would at a stroke reduce 90% of the cause of blockages in sewage systems and septic tanks. That is even before we consider the micro-plastics that normal wipes release into the environment. Most of these wipes are also better for your skin as well. As a person that suffers from sensitive skin, I appreciate this fact greatly.
Are flushable wipes better than toilet paper?
They are certainly more hygienic than toilet paper, but even the best flushable wipes take longer to break down than toilet papers. However, when compared with the damage done when people dispose of wet wipes that aren’t flushable they are a huge improvement.

It is certainly cleaner, but people with really sensitive skin or allergies may find that these can aggravate the problem.
Are Biodegradable wipes plastic free?
Any wipes that claim to be biodegradable, by definition should be plastic free. Plastic is not a biodegradable material.
How to dispose of biodegradable wipes?
While most biodegradable wipes can be safely flushed. Where this isn’t necessary it is better to place them in the trash, compostable wipes can safely be recycled in home compost solutions.

Which eco friendly flushable wipes break down the best?
Flushable wipes that are made entirely from plant fibers like bamboo, wood pulp, or cotton are the best at breaking down quickly.
Which eco friendly flushable wipes are biodegradable?
Any wipe that does not contain harmful or harsh chemicals, plastic, and is manufactured from plant materials, can be considered as biodegradable.

Are wet wipes biodegradable?
Many on the market contain plastics and chemicals that are not biodegradable. Each product we have reviewed is free from these materials and is biodegradable.
Biodegradable and compostable, what is the difference?
These are very similar; biodegradable is defined as a material that can be decomposed by biological activity. Compostable materials are turned into compost as a result of the same biological activity.
What’s the difference between wet wipes and baby wipes?
While many of these are interchangeable, baby wipes are designed to be gentler on the skin, whereas adult wipes can contain more cleansers and antibacterial products.

What are other eco friendly alternatives to wet wipes?
Simply using reusable, natural fiber, cloths can make a great substitute for many uses. Reusable bamboo wipes that can be moistened and washed and have natural anti-bacterial properties are also excellent.
