What design tools do you use to create your Anime art?

Can you shed light on the specific software or design tools that form an integral part of your anime art creation process?

Clip Studio Paint is my savior. It offers a variety of brushes, as well as 3D objects for easier scene settings. Other than that, I prefer the UI better than Photoshop since the bars are less clustered. And it automatically comes in dark mode.

Sketchfab is another website that I use since I can choose a specific angle to have as a reference for any kind of object.

I started using Krita since it was free software but I switched to clip studio paint since it has more functions that I can use such as using other artist’s shared brushes and tools.

I start my journey with photoshop and until now too. Becasue it’s really versatile for me to draw characters and painting backgrounds. I also use clip studio paint now because of the 3D figure feature which is really helpful and some brushes are unique. Sometimes I also use blender to make draft for background.

I mainly use Photoshop and Procreate for my art!

Procreate for sketches and simple tasks. Photoshop for more complex illustrations with backgrounds and various details that need high-quality editing.
