Anime artists

Which artists or styles have influenced you in the anime industry?

Are there specific artists or prevalent styles within the anime realm that have played a significant role in shaping your artistry and approach?

Growing up, I consumed plenty of anime and manga, as well as cartoon content. Therefore, my art style is built based on many franchises.

When I was little, I usually copied manga panels, posters. That has helped me a lot in forming the anime art style today, and gave me a rough understanding of anime proportion, specifically in the manga drawing industry.

One specific artists group that I look up to is TamoTaro, I love the rendering style and dynamic of their works.

An anime called Bungo stray dogs did a part on my current art style. having similarities in slanted eyes and messy hair,  and an artist called Ethan Becker taught me a lot of anatomies on the do’s and don’ts in your own styles.

Might not related to my drawing style, but I admire Yusuke Murata, Artgerm, Inoue Takehiko, Makoto Shinkai, and Hayao Miyazaki.

Absolutely

The anime created by Studio Gainax has had a significant impact on my style. I’m drawn to their work because of its vibrant and expressive nature. Shows like “Panty & Stocking” and “Re: Cutie Honey” have left a lasting impression on me with their dynamic and expressive scenes.
